New Cooking Classes Posted

The cooking class schedules for May and June, 2009 have been posted on the web site site HERE.  Sign up Now! We have several new classes for you to try. We have a Healthy, Fresh and Delicious Salad class, a new Spanish Tapas III class, a Tips, Tricks, Techniques and Recipes for Mastering your Grill class, a Hot and Spicy Appetizer class and more. We have been working hard during Mud Season to create these fun new classes.

Did you know that you and your friends can book a Cooking Class just for yourselves? That's right! You and up to 14 of your friends can come in and have your own cooking class party for whatever reason. An anniversary, family reunion, birthday party, bridal shower, bachelorette party, a dinner party or just a night out for any reason. Oh Yeah! When you book a private party, you can bring along your favorite wine or beverage, something you can not do in our regular classes. Give us a call and we can pick a menu that is right for you and your friends or family.

Our mild young Manchego has a very smooth flavor. Packaged in a handy 2 lb. wheel, this Manchego is small enough to handle and big enough to share. This quality cheese has Queso Manchego D.O. seal of authenticity, attesting to its high quality. Because this young cheese has been cured only 3 months,, it is fresh and mild. Serve slices or wedges of this pleasant cheese as tapas or snacks with olives, accompanied by sherry, beer or sangrķa. It is also great served as a light dessert accompanied by traditional membrillo -- quince preserve -- fig wheels, fresh fruit or honey.

Steve's "Gadget of the Month" 20% Off!!

20 % Off

Oxo Zester

A "zester" allows you to create fine strips of peel from lemons, oranges and
other citrus fruits. To remove zest from citrus, simply pull the sharp edge of the
zester across the fruit peel. The zester has fine holes which are sharp and cut
into the peel. This results in fine strips of citrus peel which may then be chopped.

If you want to obtain small pieces without having to chop the zest,
just pull the sharp edge across a small section at a time.

Normally $6.95
